Supply Desk is partnering with a friendly and progressive primary school in Aylesbury to recruit a committed Year 3 Teacher for a January 2026 start. This long-term role offers the chance to join a supportive team mid-academic year and play a key role in guiding pupils through their first year of Key Stage 2, supporting their academic development, confidence, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on Year 3.

Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel encouraged and valued.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.

Assess and monitor pupil progress, using assessment data to inform teaching and provide constructive feedback.

Support pupils in developing strong foundations in core subjects as they transition into KS2.

Collaborate effectively with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum development.

Maintain positive and professional communication with parents and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

About You

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally within Lower KS2.

Confident in delivering the national curriculum and adapting lessons to suit diverse learning needs.

Demonstrate a proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Possess strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.

Committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to Aylesbury.
