Are you a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant seeking a new role? Do you have experience working with non-verbal children? Can you create trusting and respectful relationships?
This is in a school which is a “Good” school in the Winchester area. The role would be working 1:1 each afternoon with a child who is non-verbal and on am adapted timetable.

Job Description:
- Working every afternoon with a Year 2 child
- Working with a child who can become frustrated that they are not understood
- Supporting communication needs with PECS/ Makaton/BSL
- Long -term contract
- Pay:Daily Rate (£85-£92)
- Location: Winchester

Individual Profile:
- Resilient, empathetic and experienced working with children with additional needs
- Must have good classroom and behaviour management
- Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
- PECs/ BSL/Makaton experience desirable
