Schools Talent Partner Supply Desk, Watford Salary: £35,000 basic + team bonus | Full-time, permanent Kick-start your career in education recruitment Are you a graduate looking for a fast-paced, people-focused career where you can make a real difference? Supply Desk is looking for a bright, confident Schools Talent Partner to join our friendly team in Watford. You’ll play a key role in connecting talented teachers and support staff with schools across the region, helping to ensure pupils get the education they deserve every day. The role As a Schools Talent Partner, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of 50+ schools, building strong, lasting relationships with head teachers, business managers and school leaders. Your day-to-day will include: Getting to know each school’s staffing needs and delivering a reliable, high-quality service Speaking confidently with clients and candidates over the phone throughout the day Sourcing, interviewing and placing teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors Carrying out safeguarding and compliance checks, including DBS checks, references and right-to-work checks, so every placement is safe Matching the right candidate to the right school, often at short notice Using our CRM and recruitment technology to manage bookings, candidates and client records Working towards clear weekly targets, such as [bookings filled and new candidates registered], and growing your accounts over time About you We’re looking for a graduate with drive, personality and great communication skills. You’ll bring: A degree in any subject Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong numeracy skills Confidence talking to people on the phone and building rapport quickly Good technology skills and the ability to pick up new systems with ease Strong organisation and the ability to stay calm under pressure A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in people A full UK driving licence, for occasional school visits No recruitment experience? No problem. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Working hours Schools call for cover first thing in the morning, so our day starts early, and finishes early too. You’ll work one of the following shift patterns, allocated on a rotating basis: 7:00am – 4:00pm 7:30am – 4:30pm 8:00am – 5:00pm What we offer 32 days’ holiday, plus your birthday off Reduced hours during school holidays Full training, with a clear route to Senior Schools Talent Partner within [12–18] months Team bonus, with typical first-year earnings of £40k A supportive, sociable team environment in our Watford office, close to public transport / with free parking Ready to apply?
