Supply Desk are seeking SEND teaching assistants for a Primary school near Waterlooville with a dedicated specialist unit.

Starting from: September 2026

Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent

Hours: Full time – 08:30 – 3:30

Pay: Up to Β£16 per hour depending upon experience

Job Description:

  • Experience of working with children with SEND, Speech, Language and communication needs, Autism, ADHD etc.
  • Desire to work throughout Key Stage 1
  • Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths, Literacy, life skills and social skills or 1:1 with specific pupils and supporting their needs

Location: Portsmouth
