We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a dedicated site team within a welcoming educational environment. This role is essential in ensuring staff and students benefit from a clean, safe, and hygienic setting every day. Full training and induction will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced cleaners and those looking to develop new skills.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Carry out routine cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, damp dusting, and emptying bins.
- Clean and maintain student and staff toilet facilities.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and bin liners.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and materials, following training and health and safety procedures.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning schedules as directed by the Site Manager.
- Report stock requirements and maintain an organised cleaning environment.
- Support the wider site team to ensure the premises remain safe, clean, and presentable.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards. Good understanding of health and safety practices. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Willing to undertake training and professional development where required.
