Supply Desk is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Uxbridge to appoint a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative school community with flexibility available for both full-time and part-time applicants.
This role would suit an enthusiastic and motivated teacher with a strong understanding of Key Stage 2, who is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential and develop confidence in their learning. As a KS2 Teacher, you will support pupils in developing key academic skills while fostering independence, resilience, and a positive attitude to learning. You will deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge learners across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
- Support pupils’ progress in reading, writing, and maths
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and targeted interventions
- Support children with a range of abilities, including those with SEN
- Promote pupils’ confidence, independence, and resilience
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – desirable
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Engaging, adaptable, and supportive teaching style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience teaching Year 3, 4, 5 or 6
- Strong subject knowledge across core KS2 subjects
- Experience using assessment data to support pupil progress
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- Commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning
