Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning and participate fully in school life.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans and support strategies.
- Adapt learning activities and resources to meet the individual needs and abilities of pupils.
- Support pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural development, promoting confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment in line with the school's behaviour policy.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to review meetings where appropriate.
- Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of pupils at all times.
