Supply Desk are seeking a teaching assistant with lunch time duties for a primary school in Sholing

Starting from October 2025 – July 2026

Pay – £80 – £90 per day

Hours: 8:30 – 3:30

Responsibilities

• Desire to work throughout Junior ages ranges (7-11 year olds)
• Able to support during lunchtimes to ensure smooth transitions for children
• Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Spelling, Reading, Maths and Literacy
• ICT literate and able to support children with simple ICT tasks
• Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
  • Location: Sholing
  • Start Date: October 2025
  • Contract Length: Long Term Potential to become permanent
  • Hours: 08:30 -3:30 Monday to Friday

Individual Profile / Qualifications

• A nurturing and caring nature
• GCSE Maths and English to A – C grade
• Experience of working with children/young people preferably in a school setting
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
• First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
