We are currently seeking a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll collaborate closely with classroom teachers to support pupils’ learning and development. Your contribution will help students grow in confidence, acquire essential life skills, and reach their academic potential.

Key Duties:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support
Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour
Modify learning resources to meet diverse needs and interests
Support lesson delivery and classroom activities
Foster strong relationships with pupils and staff
Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning space
Track and report on student progress and wellbeing

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Confident in managing classroom routines and behaviour
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding practices
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
