What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
  • Supporting students with a range of SEND requirements
  • Creating inclusive and engaging learning environments
  • Working closely with support staff, SENCO and external agencies
  • Monitoring progress and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Promoting confidence, independence and wellbeing
  • Contributing to individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs)

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEND students (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
  • Ability to differentiate effectively
  • Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to supporting all learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
