What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting students with a range of SEND requirements
- Creating inclusive and engaging learning environments
- Working closely with support staff, SENCO and external agencies
- Monitoring progress and adapting strategies accordingly
- Promoting confidence, independence and wellbeing
- Contributing to individual education plans (IEPs/EHCPs)
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEND students (desirable)
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
- Ability to differentiate effectively
- Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to supporting all learners
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
