PPA Cover Teacher – Primary School in Maidstone

Are you a confident and adaptable teacher with a passion for supporting primary education across a range of year groups? Our partner primary school in Maidstone is seeking a dynamic PPA Cover Teacher to join their team, providing high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who thrives on variety, enjoys building relationships across the school, and has strong classroom management skills.

Contract: November Start

Salary: £130 – £140 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and KS2 during PPA cover slots
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning across different classrooms
• Adapt quickly to different year groups and teaching styles
• Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity and consistency in pupil progress
• Provide feedback and contribute to pupil assessments where appropriate

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – preferred
• Proven experience teaching across KS1 and KS2
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Ability to build rapport with pupils and staff quickly
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
