About the Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in preparing pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school, while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking full responsibility for a Year 6 class
- Delivering high-quality and engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Preparing pupils for SATs, including targeted interventions
- Planning, assessing, and adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Promoting resilience, independence, and high expectations
