Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stokenchurch, seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026. The Role
The Reception year is a vital bridge between early development and structured learning. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging, and well-organised classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn. You will be responsible for:
- Creating a stimulating, play-based learning environment aligned with the EYFS framework
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Encouraging early communication skills, independence, and positive learning behaviours

The Ideal Candidate
You understand that Reception is about more than teaching—it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. You will ideally:
- Have experience teaching Reception or EYFS, or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Hold QTS (unqualified teachers with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply)
- Be patient, creative, and engaging
