We are supporting a welcoming and inclusive school in Watford that is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to lead and inspire pupils with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a school that values individual learning, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.

The school supports children with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties, and is committed to providing high-quality teaching tailored to each child's needs.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
  • Leading interventions and supporting progress against EHCP targets
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil outcomes, adapting approaches where necessary
  • Working closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents
  • Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Promoting independence, confidence, and engagement in learning

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching children with SEND in a school setting
  • Is patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
