About the Role
Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking secondary school seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher to join their science department.
Key Duties
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that challenge and motivate students of all abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
- Create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to participate and succeed.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and classroom standards.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Science department to develop resources, share best practice, and contribute to curriculum planning.
- Support students' personal development and wellbeing through positive relationships and effective pastoral care.
- Ensure all practical lessons are delivered safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Play an active role in the wider school community through parents' evenings, enrichment activities, and departmental initiatives.
