We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Radlett, known for its inclusive ethos and strong commitment to academic achievement and personal development. Languages play an important role within the school, with a clear focus on cultural awareness and global citizenship. The school is now seeking a passionate MFL Teacher (Spanish and French) to join their team on a long-term basis from February 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who can teach Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 depending on experience and departmental requirements. You will inspire students to develop confidence and fluency in both languages while fostering a genuine enthusiasm for language learning and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Spanish and French across KS3 and KS4, with possible KS5 involvement.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Promote cultural understanding and international awareness through creative and immersive teaching approaches.

What We Are Looking For

  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience teaching Spanish and French at secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective language teaching methodologies.
  • A genuine passion for languages and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
