SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time
Location: St Albans
Salary: £80 £110 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

This is a full-time, term-time role, perfect for someone with a caring, proactive attitude. Whether you\’re experienced in SEN or new to the field, you ll be welcomed into a team that prioritises collaboration, training, and pupil-focused support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and related needs

  • Assist in delivering individualised learning and therapy sessions

  • Support pupils in developing communication, social, and life skills

  • Promote emotional regulation and use positive behaviour strategies

  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent care

  • Assist with personal care when needed

  • Keep accurate records and contribute to progress reviews

What We re Looking For:

  • SEN experience is desirable but not essential

  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to learn and engage in CPD opportunities

  • Dependable, flexible, and committed to inclusion

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
