Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Role Available

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the patience, care, and dedication to help pupils overcome learning challenges? Supply Desk is looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive schools in Hemel Hempstead on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting September 2025.

This fulfilling position involves providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a variety of needs, including autism, SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health), and other additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting SEND pupils in classrooms and intervention sessions
  • Assisting with delivering individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Promoting independence, social skills, and confidence
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to tailor learning approaches
