SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Brighton

Pay: £89.05-£98.50 per day

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary and SEND education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements across Sussex in a variety of Primary and Secondary schools.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN TA to join one of our partner schools in Brighton. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners with diverse needs.

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, tailoring approaches to their individual learning needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment that fosters well-being and development.
• Manage challenging behaviour using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and adapt to various school settings.

• Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
