Job Description:
As a SEMH Support Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and adapting strategies to support the social, emotional, and mental health needs of students
  • Collaborating with the teaching staff to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH needs
  • Providing regular feedback to teachers and other professionals on student progress and well-being
  • Supporting the overall well-being of students, promoting a positive school culture

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students impacted by SEMH
  • Willingness to apply for or possess an Enhanced DBS (can be processed through us if needed)
  • Registration with EWC (Education Workforce Council)
