Salary: £29,344 - £44,919 (depending on experience)
A well-regarded secondary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join its strong department from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach General Science at KS3 and a science specialism at KS4, with the opportunity to deliver GCSE preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3/KS4
- Adapt teaching to support pupils of varying abilities, including SEN and EAL
- Track and monitor pupil progress, setting interventions where necessary
- Contribute to curriculum planning and extra-curricular STEM activities
Requirements
- QTS and specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to motivate learners
