We are working with a school in southampton that are seeking a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist to join their team. This is a front-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and excellent support for our school community.

The School is a mixed Secondary School for students aged from 11 to 16 years with around 700 students in total. The School is based in Southampton. The school was graded as a Good School in its last Ofsted inspection and continues to perform well.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting visitors, parents, and students in a polite and professional manner

Managing phone calls, emails, and general enquiries

Supporting administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and correspondence

Assisting staff with day-to-day office needs

Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are always followed

Requirements:

Previous experience working within a school environment is essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask in a busy reception environment

Confident using IT systems and Microsoft Office packages
