The Role
- In this role, you will be responsible for teaching Design Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with KS5 teaching experience considered a desirable bonus.
- You may cover areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, and CAD/CAM.
- You’ll be expected to plan engaging lessons, assist students in developing practical skills, and maintain a safe, well-equipped workshop environment.
Responsibilities

Candidate Profile
- QTS or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- Experience teaching Design Technology at the secondary school level
- Strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and workshop safety
- Creative, practical teaching style
- Effective classroom management and behaviour skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
