Supply Desk is recruiting on behalf of a friendly and forward-thinking secondary school in Princess Risborough, who are looking to appoint an energetic and committed PE Teacher for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a PE specialist who is passionate about promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork, and lifelong participation in sport.
Your Contribution
As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a broad and engaging Physical Education curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards physical activity. Key aspects of the role include:
- Delivering high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities
- Teaching both practical and theory-based PE where required
- Supporting students working towards GCSE PE (if applicable)
- Promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Planning inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all abilities
- Ensuring lessons are delivered safely and effectively
- Maintaining strong behaviour management and positive engagement
- Organising and contributing to extracurricular sports activities
- Working collaboratively within the PE department and school community
Who We’re Keen to Hear From
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching PE at secondary school level
- ECTs welcome with relevant PE placements
- Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities
- Confident classroom and practical session management
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and resilient teaching style
- Available for a September start
- Able to travel to Princess Risborough, Buckinghamshire
