KS1 Teacher – Year 1/2 Teacher required in Winchester

Full time – 08:00 – 4:00

We at Supply Desk are seeking a Year 1/2 Teacher for a full responsibility post. This is for a small village school on the outskirts of Winchester. The school is delightful with very few vacancies occurring.

The school is an Ofsted rated “Good” small school in the Winchester suburbs. Staff are valued, expected and work collaboratively to meet the needs of children they know well.

What the school requires:

  • A KS1 teacher, ECTs are welcome to apply
  • The ability to manage a mixed year group
  • An excellent knowledge of phonics (the school uses Oxford Reading Tree phonics)
  • The ability to differentiate for the needs of SEND children within the class
  • A professional with high standards and a passion for learning development

What we ask from you:

  • Have a current DBS on the update service or are prepared to obtain one
  • Hold a teaching qualification recognised in the UK
  • Be an experienced teacher
