With competitive Fringe Area pay ranging from £120 £250 per day (depending on experience and role), we offer fantastic opportunities whether you re looking for short-term flexibility, long-term placements, pre-bookings, block bookings, or even last-minute work.

As a Supply Teacher, you ll play a key role in maintaining continuity in education, supporting classroom learning, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Our innovative availability system allows you to update your weekly availability with ease, helping us match you to roles that suit your preferences and career goals.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and Inspire: Deliver interactive and tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils, creating an engaging and accessible learning environment.

  • Foster Positive Behaviour: Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful atmosphere.

  • Inclusive Learning: Adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities, ensuring every child feels supported.

  • Individualised Support: Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.

  • Organised Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom resources to ensure smooth lesson delivery and maximise engagement.

  • Clear Communication: Maintain strong communication with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils.

  • Adaptability: Confidently adapt to different school environments and year groups across Hertfordshire.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Education or a related field (essential)

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) preferred but not essential

  • Experience working with primary-aged children

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced school environment

  • Valid DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one

  • Willingness to travel across Hertfordshire
