What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3
- Teaching GCSE Food and Nutrition (essential)
- Supporting delivery of additional Creative Design subjects (e.g. Art, Textiles)
- Planning and delivering practical and theory‑based lessons
- Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
- Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Promoting a positive and engaging learning environment
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
- Ability to teach Food and Nutrition at GCSE level
- Willingness to contribute to other Creative subjects at KS3
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students
- A proactive, enthusiastic and reflective approach
- Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all students
