Specialist SEND Teaching Assistant – New Forest

Supporting Pupils with SEMH, Autism, physical challenges and SEND

Location: New Forest

Hours: 08:30am – 3:30pm, 5 days a week

Start: September 2026

Long-term position, with the potential to become permanent

Competitive pay: £85- £100

We’re seeking dedicated Specialist SEND Teaching Assistants to support a specialist school in the Lymington area working with children from the ages of 6-16. The children at this specialist establishment have a range of needs including medical and other additional needs. Whether you have a background in care, personal experience, or a passion for helping others—if you bring empathy, patience, and a resilient mindset, this role could be your next step.

  • A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
