About the Role
We are seeking a Pastoral Assistant to join a thriving sixth form college in Southampton. This is an exciting long-term opportunity to support students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding, and engagement, working closely with the pastoral team to provide guidance and support. What You'll Be Doing
- Providing pastoral care and wellbeing support for students across the college.
- Acting as a first point of contact for student concerns and signposting to appropriate services.
- Supporting attendance, behaviour, and engagement initiatives.
- Assisting with safeguarding processes and maintaining accurate records.
- Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive environment.
