Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early development? Do you thrive in a nurturing, school-based environment? We are currently seeking a dedicatedNursery Assistantto join a welcoming primary school inThanetfromSeptember 2025.
As an Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3–5 within a school-based nursery setting. Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
- Observing and recording children’s progress
- Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Collaborating with staff and parents to support individual needs
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic, caring, and patient
- Experienced in working with early years children (nursery or reception)
- Knowledgeable of the EYFS framework
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Ideally qualified to Level 2 or 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)
