Supply Desk are seeking Teaching Assistants & Learning Support Assistants in Portsmouth, Southampton & Fareham.
Pay: £88 – £100 per day depending on experience
Hours: Typically 08:15 – 15:30
About the role:
Supply Desk is working closely with a range of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across Portsmouth, Southampton, Fareham and the surrounding areas. These schools are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for both long-term and short-term positions.
As a TA or LSA, you will support pupils in the classroom, assist with learning activities, help manage behaviour, and work closely with teachers to ensure students receive the support they need. Roles may involve working one-to-one, supporting small groups, or assisting across the whole class.
We can offer you consistent, local work, a supportive team, and opportunities to develop your skills across a variety of school settings.

We are currently looking for TAs and LSAs who:
- Are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
- Have experience in Primary, Secondary or SEN settings (desirable but not essential)
- Are patient, adaptable and confident working with pupils of varying needs
- Can build positive relationships with students and staff
- Are reliable, proactive and committed to supporting education
- Have a DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to apply for one)
