The Gig (Job Description):
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3–5 (depending on school)
- Develop students’ practical skills, theory knowledge, and love for music
- Organise school concerts, performances, or extra-curricular ensembles (where applicable)
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where all pupils can flourish
- Assess and track progress to help students tune in to success
You’ll Need to Bring:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential to take this stage!
- An enhanced DBS check – don’t worry if you don’t have one; we’ll help you compose it!
- EWC registration (if you’re in Wales) – we can guide you through the process
- Passion, creativity, and a strong sense of rhythm (musical and metaphorical!)
