An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Dance Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Milton Keynes from January 2026. As part of the school's Expressive Arts department, you'll play a key role in fostering students' creativity, physical expression, and self-confidence through the power of dance. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for movement and the arts to make a lasting impact.
- Teach Engaging Dance Lessons: Plan and deliver dynamic dance lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
- Develop Students' Technique & Creativity: Support students in developing their technical dance skills, creativity, and performance ability, encouraging personal expression through movement.
- Organise School Performances: Contribute to the planning and execution of school dance productions, showcases, and enrichment activities that provide students with real-world performance experience.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Excellent classroom management and communication skills to engage students and promote a positive learning environment
- A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
