Supply Desk are seeking an experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class in Midhurst. Read on to find out what you will need to succeed in this position, including skills, qualifications, and experience.

This is in a school which is a “Good” school in the Midhurst area. The class has a high percentage of SEND children and would need someone that can support with empathy, patience and resilience. A knowledge of the KS1 curriculum would be advantageous. This is a rural school and the ability to drive is essential.

Job Description:

  • Working within a Year 3 class
  • Working with a high percentage of SEND such as Autism, SEMH and ADHD
  • Supporting whole class with Guided Reading, Maths and English, phonics and general classroom support
