Supply Desk is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Science Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Southampton from September 2026. We are seeking specialists in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science who are confident delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for KS5 depending on experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to secure a long-term placement in supportive and well-resourced schools. You will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners are essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
- Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 Science
- A passion for delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
