Supply Desk is recruiting on behalf of a friendly and forward‑thinking secondary school in Hayes, who are looking to appoint an energetic and committed PE Teacher for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a PE specialist who is passionate about promoting physical wellbeing, teamwork, and lifelong participation in sport.

Your Contribution

  • As a PE Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering a broad and engaging Physical Education curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
  • Delivering high‑quality PE lessons across a range of sports and activities.
  • Teaching both practical and theory‑based PE where required.
  • Supporting students working towards GCSE PE (if applicable).
  • Promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Planning inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all abilities.
  • Ensuring lessons are delivered safely and effectively.
  • Maintaining strong behaviour management and positive engagement.
  • Organising and contributing to extracurricular sports activities.
  • Working collaboratively within the PE department and school community.

Who We’re Keen to Hear From

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary school level; ECTs welcome with relevant PE placements.
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of sports and physical activities.
  • Confident classroom and practical session management.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and resilient teaching style.
