We are looking for a committed and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the supportive and inclusive team at a well-established school in High Wycombe. About the Role:

  • Deliver personalised support to students in both group settings and one-to-one sessions.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that encourages positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to plan and deliver targeted interventions and individualised learning approaches.
  • Track students’ academic and emotional development, providing regular feedback and identifying areas for further support.
  • Promote students’ social and emotional growth through thoughtfully designed, engaging activities.
  • Assist in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours, contributing to a calm and nurturing atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification with a patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting young people, including those who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and meaningful support for students.
  • Remains calm, focused, and solution-oriented when working under pressure or managing difficult situations.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all students at all times.
  • Works effectively as part of a team while also showing confidence and initiative when working independently.
