Learning Support Assistant & Wraparound Care Assistant Location: Between Hook and Basingstoke Pay: £92 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)  Hours: 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP / December 2026 with a potential to extend  Supply Desk are working with a welcoming primary school located between Hook and Basingstoke, seeking a dedicated and nurturing Learning Support Assistant & Wraparound Care Assistant to join their team. This varied role combines classroom-based support during the afternoon with supervision and engagement within the school's after-school provision. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and supporting their development both in and beyond the classroom. The Role Learning Support Assistant (12:00pm - 3:30pm)  • Support pupils within the classroom environment  • Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences  • Support children with their academic, social and emotional development  • Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions where required  • Promote positive behaviour and independence  Wraparound Care Assistant (3:30pm - 6:00pm) • Supervise pupils attending the after-school provision • Organise and support engaging activities, games and creative play • Encourage positive relationships and social development • Maintain a safe, caring and inclusive environment • Promote children's wellbeing and enjoyment at the end of the school day What We're Looking For • Experience working with primary-aged children • A positive, caring and patient approach  • Strong communication and teamwork skills  • Good behaviour management skills • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff • Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic attitude  • Previous school, childcare, wraparound care or youth work experience would be advantageous Position Details • Long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent  • Full-time, Monday to Friday • Supportive and welcoming school environment • Opportunity to work across both classroom and childcare settings  • Immediate interviews available Why Work with Supply Desk?
