Are you an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity this September? Supply Desk is working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Kings Langley area seeking a dedicated MFL specialist to join their successful department.
The successful candidate will teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate. You will play a key role in helping students develop strong language skills, cultural understanding and confidence in communication through engaging and creative lessons.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Modern Foreign Languages lessons across Key Stages 3–5, fostering a positive and engaging learning experience.
- Monitor student progress through effective assessment strategies and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement.
- Promote an appreciation of different cultures and encourage students to develop confidence in their language abilities.
- Work closely with colleagues to contribute to a vibrant and successful MFL department.
- Inspire students to become independent learners with a genuine interest in languages and global perspectives.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject, alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- A passion for language education and a commitment to delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
