We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and inspiring our Year 5 pupils to achieve their best. You will be part of a school that prides itself on nurturing each child's academic, emotional, and social development in a vibrant, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons for Year 5 pupils, in line with the National Curriculum
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Create a positive, stimulating learning environment that motivates and challenges students
- Foster personal growth and help students develop their social and emotional skills
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team, parents, and the school community
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful classroom environment
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A genuine passion for teaching Year 5 and a commitment to inspiring young learners
- Strong organisational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5 (desirable but not essential)
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Enthusiasm for working in a school where each child is valued and supported
