About the role:
Supply Desk are working closely with a fantastic school based in the Chalfont St. Peter area. They are seeking an ambitious KS2 Teacher to start in Easter 2026. The school are looking to appoint an excellent teacher that has experience teaching within Primary School and is good with classroom management. You will have passion for creating, stimulating and engaging lessons for students and have the ability to build a good rapport with students and colleagues.
You will be required to:
- Find ways to relay the curriculum to students in KS2
- Take account of pupils’ prior levels of attainment and use them to set future targets
- Plan work in accordance with departmental schemes of work and online curriculum
- Keep appropriate records of pupils’ work
- Mark and return work set, including homework within an agreed and reasonable time frames
- Monitor and set targets for the social and academic progress of all pupils
- Endeavour to build good relationships with the students, so there is mutual respect
