Supply Desk are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Physics Teacher to join a vibrant school in Kings Langley. You will deliver engaging lessons, foster scientific inquiry, and inspire a love of Physics in Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5) students. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Physics to Key Stage 3–5 students (or years 7–12), adapting lessons to different abilities.
- Plan and deliver stimulating lessons and practical experiments aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Promote safe laboratory practices and maintain an organized science environment.
- Inspire students to explore scientific concepts and think critically.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Physical Sciences, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification/certification (QTS) or relevant classroom experience.
- Strong knowledge of Physics concepts and laboratory techniques suitable for secondary education.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for motivating and inspiring young learners.
