Supply Desk is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Kings Langley area. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students through sport and physical activity while promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork and personal development.
The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. The school offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging practical and theoretical Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3–5.
- Plan and prepare lessons that encourage participation, skill development and enjoyment of sport.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement and personal growth.
- Promote teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Support extracurricular sports activities and contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards within the Physical Education department.
- A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant secondary teaching experience.
