We are delighted to be recruiting a dedicated and motivated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and progressive primary school in Milton Keynes from January 2026. The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Creating a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and promotes good behaviour
  • Using effective assessment strategies to monitor progress, identify next steps, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • Supporting the development of core skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and wider curriculum subjects
  • Encouraging independence, creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving through purposeful and interactive learning experiences
  • Supporting pupils personal development, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise pupil outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1

  • A passion for early education and developing confident, independent learners
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners
