The Role
- Guiding students through key historical periods across KS3 to KS5.
- Bringing topics to life through discussion, debate, and interpretation.
- Encouraging students to question sources, analyse evidence, and form their own perspectives.
- Creating engaging lessons that challenge, inspire, and stretch all learners.
- Supporting progress through thoughtful feedback, marking, and assessment.
Requirements
- Hold QTS, PGCE, ECT status, or equivalent (unqualified teachers also welcome).
- Have experience teaching History across secondary levels.
- Be confident in delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons.
- Have a track record (or strong potential) of supporting student progress.
- Bring flexibility, creativity, and a passion for your subject.
