Salary: £90 – £105 per day (Dependent on experience)

Hours: 08:30 – 3:30

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HLTA to work in an Ofsted rated “Good” school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. The school boasts well behaved children and a supportive and established staff. This role would include covering PPA and illness throughout KS2. You must have an HLTA or CACHE level 3 qualification to apply for this role. This would be an excellent role for an ECT looking to take their first steps into teaching.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Covering classes on a planned or ad hoc basis
  • Providing EHCP support for those pupils with additional needs
  • Teach booster sessions for those who need support to meet their academic targets
  • Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs
  • Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience
  • Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Excellent classroom management skills
