Supply Desk are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dependable, and adaptable Primary Daily Cover Teacher to work across a variety of friendly and supportive primary schools in the Hemel Hempstead area ASAP. This full-time position is ideal for a teacher who enjoys the flexibility and variety of covering different classes while making a positive impact on pupils' learning.
Working across Key Stages 1 and 2, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, and ensure learning continues smoothly during teacher absences. The successful candidate will be confident teaching across a range of year groups, able to adapt quickly to new classroom environments, and committed to providing high-quality teaching wherever they are placed. Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach are essential, along with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and productive learning environment
- Adapt confidently to different schools, classes, and teaching styles
- Follow each school's behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom policies
- Provide clear feedback to teachers on pupil engagement and learning
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity for pupils
