Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant - Southampton

Supporting Pupils with SEMH, Autism and behavioural needs

Location: Southampton

Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm, 5 days a week

Start: February 2026

We are seeking dedicated Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistants to support two children with different needs in a local, Southampton 3 form entry school. Both pupils present behaviours that need addressing quickly and confidently. It is essential you are strong, calm, and consistent, with the confidence to follow agreed strategies, apply boundaries fairly, and respond proactively before situations escalate.
