About the Role

Supply Desk is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Hatfield. This is an opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about helping children learn, develop, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
  • Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
  • Assist with daily nursery routines, including meal times and personal care

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
