About the Role
Supply Desk is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Hatfield. This is an opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about helping children learn, develop, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
- Plan and deliver engaging age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times
- Assist with daily nursery routines, including meal times and personal care
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
