Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across the relevant secondary school year groups. Develop students' understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and numerical skills. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development. Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment. Prepare students for assessments and examinations, supporting them in achieving their academic goals. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider Mathematics department. Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is desirable. A strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics. Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level is desirable. The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students. Strong classroom management and communication skills. The ability to adapt teaching methods to support students of different abilities. A commitment to raising attainment and helping every student reach their potential. Availability to start ASAP.
